Pratyush is a Managing Partner of MVAC Advocates & Consultants and acts as an Advisor to E.L.F. Partners Pte Ltd.

He graduated with a First-Class Honours graduate from ALS (GGSIP University) and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. He has been practicing before a number of forums including the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and other forums and tribunals. He served as a Senior Panel Counsel for the Union of India before the Delhi High Court and represented the Union of India in a plethora of matters including a dispute in relation to the development of the Rs. 2700 Crore Trans Arunachal Highway, challenges to the constitutional vires of tribunals constituted under various central acts amongst others.  He has also represented a Bharat Ratna PSU in various arbitrations and contractual disputes including a USD 400 million dispute against one of the leading rail coach manufactures in the world. He has over 13 years’ experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution having advised numerous domestic and international clients before various fora. 

As an arbitration practitioner, he has appeared before a number of ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, including those before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Delhi International Arbitration Centre, among others. His areas of expertise include cross border disputes, arbitration, taxation, and insolvency laws. 

At E.L.F. Partners, Pratyush advises on assessment and legal underwriting of claims for litigation funders. 

He regularly advises domestic and international non-profits in their structuring, tax compliance and operations in collaboration with a Thomson Reuters Foundation.
